It's that time of year!

No, silly, I'm not talking about Christmas! It's the time of year when I listen to Arlo Guthrie sing "Alice's Restaurant" (also known as "Thanksgiving Massacre") Ok, so I confess, I don't just listen to this song during Thanksgiving, but this makes a good excuse to listen! I couldn't resist making a few wordarts from the song lyrics. I tried to make them generic, so they could be used anytime. Don't worry, I will get back to my SNL wordarts next week...but for now, just humor me a bit and let me indulge myself for a few days. Hehe.

  1. Love it, nothing better to put a smile on my face for Thanksgiving since I just found out I'm cooking dinner on Thursday - and my name is Alice. Thanks for the wordart and Arlo.

  5. Oh my goodness -- Alice's Restaurant! Love it! A Thanksgiving tradition as our house, too -- I can't wait to make a page for my dad and surprise him with this!! :) He will be so excited! (When I made a cookbook and put Fogelberg's "Forefathers," he was so excited, so I know he'll be thrilled about this.) We all gather around the record player (yup, the record player) and listen to this, and we love introducing "newbies" to it. Such fun! :)
